Tae Gong Shil (Gong Hyo Jin) is a sensitive assistant, who suffers from insomnia, due to her ability to see ghosts after an accident. SO ROMANTIC!
I have to admit, I was sceptical of the whole “Look-at-me-I-can-see-ghosts” Idea but it was surprisingly well done. The female lead of The Master’s Sun, Gong Shil always helps those ghosts to fulfill their last wishes, then they vanish to The Other Side. Most of the ghosts’ stories were heartbreaking and made me cry. A lot. And then there were others, that were rather scary and sometimes a little weird. Those stories made this drama so interesting and unique, as well as the perfectly written love story between the two main characters.
The last four episodes were so so so romantic and well done! I don’t want to give anything away but boy, I really live for cheesy shit like that.
If you’d consider yourself a hopeless romantic like me I’d definitely recommend The Master’s Sun to you. Don’t be taken aback from the mystical aspect of it, trust me on this one.
