THE BEST KOREAN DRAMA OF ALL TIME?
I deliberately didn’t write more about the plot of Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo because I’m just going to assume that everyone who reads this is going to watch this drama anyway. Yes, EVERYONE.
Now, I think I’m really hard to please when it comes to dramas so trust me when I tell you that this drama was probably the best one I’ve seen yet. Yeah, even better than Age of Youth and Reply 1997.
I love light-hearted and happy dramas with a well done romance and comedy storyline. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo fulfilled all these criterias. The actors were amazing and I fell in love with Jung Joon Hyung. What a man. Sigh.
Everytime he said or did something cute to Bok Joo I freaked out and squealed like a pathetic fangirl. So yeah, there is that.
What I also loved about Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo was the well rounded ending. I even cried, not because it was sad, but because I actually loved it so much.
Definitely a must-see drama!

I have a really bad habit at not finishing the Korean dramas I start, so I only reached halfway through this one BUT I remember that I liked it because it was really light and fluffy. A lot of Korean dramas end up being too angsty or too makjang but this one was just really cute! Maybe I’ll go back and try and finish it, especially since you liked it so much!

Oh my goodness, WFKBJ will be my all time favorite Kdrama, like yes, this is THE BEST kdrama out there today! I love, love, love Joon Hyung. And until now, I still have not recovered from it! Haha! #fangirls
